Description: The Norfolk Southern Foundation aims to make strategic investments to charitable organizations within the service territories of Norfolk Southern. The foundation’s goal is to enhance the quality of life for Norfolk Southern communities. Focus areas include: arts and culture and community enrichment; education, focused primarily at the postsecondary level with schools; some early childhood education programs; and science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) programs; environmental programs; and health and human services.
