Description: The National Science Foundation seeks proposals to build capacity of minority-serving institutions through the establishment of centers that integrate education and research; provide research experience and training for early career faculty scientists; and expand the presence of students historically underrepresented in science, engineering, technology, and mathematics (STEM) disciplines. Proposals are accepted in the following categories:
• Centers of Research Excellence in Science and Technology (CREST)
• CREST Postdoctoral Research Fellowships
• HBCU Research Infrastructure for Science and Engineering (RISE)
• SBIR/STTR Diversity Collaborative and CREST Partnership Supplements
