Thanksgiving comes early this year. So, if you are thinking about doing a special Thanksgiving STEM based activity, now is the time to start planning.
I was able to find a great resource page on Curriki.org that was authored by Lani deGuia. Lani has 13 years of educational experience; of which, 5 years was as a teacher in the traditional and online classroom settings for both K-12 and adult learners. The past 8 years, she has served as the program manager of technology for a high school providing instructional technology guidance and implementation toward educational endeavors to over 2000 students and 200 faculty and staff per year.
Lani has taken the time to identify 15 different Thanksgiving themed STEM lessons in Math, Science, and Design.
