Corning Foundation – Due: Open

Est. Program Funding: $2.25 M – The Corning Foundation develops and supports projects in educational, cultural, and community organizations. Each year, the foundation fulfills approximately 225 grants totaling some $2.25 million. Corning’s areas of involvement have included community service programs for students, curriculum enrichment, student scholarships, facility improvement, and instructional technology projects for the classroom.

The majority of grants go to community-based programs where Corning has a strong presence. Typically, this means the program should impact people within an approximate 20-mile radius of a Corning business location with at least 50 employees. The Foundation also makes direct grants on a case by case basis to national or international organizations in times of widespread natural disaster or other emergencies.

Organizations interested in applying for a Corning Incorporated Foundation grant must validate that their program aligns with the Foundation’s vision in its three direct-grant theme areas: education, human services, and culture.
