Description:       The National Research Council Research Associateship Program (NRC RAP) offers postdoctoral and senior scientists and engineers opportunities to perform research at sponsoring Air Force laboratory sites. The objectives of this program are: (1) to provide researchers of unusual promise and ability opportunities to solve problems, largely of their own choice, that are compatible with the interests of the hosting laboratories; and (2) contribute to the overall efforts of the Air Force laboratories.

Eligible applicants are US citizens who are scientists and engineers at any stage of their career. Applicants should hold, or anticipate receiving, an earned doctorate in science or engineering. Applications must be submitted online.
